Employees in all sectors of Italy are required to present a Greene card that is protected from the Covid virus when reporting to workplaces.
Accordingly, the Italian government has decided to make the Covid vaccination card and a certificate that the virus is not infected or a document stating that it has been cured from the infection mandatory when reporting for duty.
The order, which will apply to employees in all workplaces, will come into effect from October 15.
Italy is the first European country to issue such an order, with the aim of strengthening the vaccination program.
It is reported that the green card stating that the vaccination has been done has been made mandatory at the entrance of railway stations, cinemas, restaurants and bodybuilding places in Italy.
